VERSATILITY

A premium highly refined form of alumina abrasive wheel which contains a small percentage of chromium oxide. Chromium content allows the grain to splinter giving it a self sharpening effect. Hardness is similar to that of white aluminium oxide. Toughness is greater than that of white aluminium oxide. Outstanding durability with long lasting wheel performance. Typically used on harder steels  which need a cool, friable cutting action to avoid burning.
